Like many, I bought and sold houses, but was never truly impressed with my real estate agent. On the homes I purchased, I scoured the listings to find interesting homes, I figured out the right price for the house, and I was the one staying on the various parties to make sure the deal when through - on my own house. When I've sold, I figured out the proper price to sell, staged my home, and even took the pictures. All the while, my real estate agents simply went along with whatever I had to say, offering a little guidance, but mostly deferring. I left each of these transactions wondering why I didn't just do it myself. Well, I did just that. As a full time Realtor, I have the good fortune to be able to work with clients, both buying and selling, to facilitate the process.
